get inspired.

Colors and vintage feel are great in this, I wonder if there is a font that can be downloaded to get the effect of the rounded 60's style words

I like the vintage colors and the illustrated look to this

  1. I think you have a great idea here. I think when you feature an artist's work you should put their name and a link to either their website or a website featuring more of their work. It is important to give credit when it is due. I think it would be a good idea to feature an artist of the week. You could have a picture of the artist or their work and a website they have created that shows their work. Maybe you can even have them answer a few questions for you and your visitors about design and what it takes to be a designer. I think it is important to showcase legit designers, and this will help make your blog worthy of reading!

  2. I agree with everything you're saying however, I couldn't find the actual artistd that designed these... should I have posted up work that I knew who the artist is? This may reveal how the graphic design world is and how not so much are the artists cared about as their work is.

  3. Well Megan, I think it is important to give people the credit they deserve. Although the artwork is wonderful, you should find designs that feature a name and possibly a link to more of their work. People are going to think that you might have created this work. You don't want designers going to your site and seeing their work without any credit. If you really want to show a design and cannot find any names at all, post the website where you found it atleast, and that will help visitors explore some more sights, and maybe even help you find out who the designer is.

  4. I also think you should have more designs featured on your blog, maybe on the left hand side of your blog. This will help make your blog more appealing and more colorful.
